Navigators started in M2 of MED 223.
Everyone knows the routine that works. Look over the slides before the lecture so you walk in with an idea. Attend. Then find a video that explains the same topic from another angle, and it settles.
Almost nobody keeps it up. The search takes time you don’t have, and half of what you find explains something adjacent — so you end up more confused than when you started, and eventually you stop bothering. Not because it doesn’t work. Because it costs too much.
Navigators does that search for you, for every lecture, and sends it the day before. Hence the name: it gets you through the lecture.
